Wednesday 1 July - Puti puti flax weaving |
| Meeting Point: Exhibition Foyer Time: 12:15pm |
| 12.15pm - 1pm | Grab your lunch and join us for an informal lunch workshop weaving puti puti (flowers) from harakeke (flax). This is an opportunity to create something small with natural fibres while connecting with other conference delegates. In the South Pacific region weaving is a vital part of culture. Many cultures in this part of the world weave mats, baskets, and clothing. We weave and chat together as a means of meditative and even curious inquiry. Registrations are limited. No prior experience is required. |
ANZAHPE Community Wall of Wisdom Weaving display |
| Location: Exhibition Hall |
| This year, ANZAHPE invites delegates to contribute to our Community Wall of Wisdom—a collective reflection on the values, insights and lessons that shape our work in health professions education. Drawing on the knowledge of oracles and everyday wisdom holders alike, this evolving artwork celebrates diversity, connection and shared purpose. Write a proverb, insight, focus point or hard won lesson on recycled paper and weave it into the wall. As the conference unfolds, watch a living tapestry of wisdom emerge—one that will carry our collective voice forward to future ANZAHPE gatherings. |
