Health Consumers

Consumer Bursary Registration to attend the
Health Services Research Conference Australia and New Zealand 2024

NOW CLOSED!

The Health Services Research Association of Australian and New Zealand (HSRAANZ) was founded in 2001 to facilitate communication across the health services research community, to bridge the gap between researchers and policy makers, to promote education and training, and to ensure sustainable of health services research in Australia and New Zealand. Every two years, HSRAANZ holds a 3-day conference to provide its members with an opportunity to hear updates from relevant agencies, share learnings, and discuss the future of health services research.

In 2024, the conference will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) in Brisbane from Wednesday 4 -  Friday 6 December. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH IN THE DIGITAL AGE’. More information about the conference sub-themes, including the program, is available HERE.

This year Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) will be supporting consumer participation in the conference by
offering up to three (3) full, or nine (9) single day Consumer Bursary Registrations.

Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) is a partnership organisation that brings together many of Queensland’s major health services, research institutes and universities to collectively address the barriers to effective health research translation. HTQ is one of NHMRC’s 12 accredited Research Translation Centres across Australia.

If you are a health consumer with an interest in becoming more acquainted with how health services research works, the challenges and opportunities being faced, and networking with those developing the next generation of health services research projects, we encourage you to submit your expression of interest.
