From the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, it’ s about 10 mins walk to our beautiful “Broadbeach” beach, through a mall and restaurant district. If you walk 30 mins north along the beach, you will come to Surfers Paradise beach, further north is Main Beach and then The Spit. 

A southerly beach walk will bring you to Mermaid Beach in 30 mins, and Burleigh Beach another 45 mins. A tram runs between Broadbeach and Helensvale (up to Main Beach then to the Gold Coast University Hospital and Gold Coast Private Hospital) – at Helensvale it meets the train that travels to Brisbane Airport. We don ’t bother with the tram timetable – trams come by every 15 mins. Trains run every 30 or 60 mins so check the timetable if you are heading to Brisbane. The number 700 bus travels from Broadbeach, through Burleigh, Miami and all the way to Tweed Heads. For anywhere other than straight up and down the coastline, easiest to use taxi or rideshare.
