We appreciate your time and ask that you review the instructions carefully to ensure deadlines and expectations are met. Below are the detailed requirements for presentations.
Papers submitted and accepted as Pre-Conference Workshops will be delivered live at the Conference. Pre-Conference Workshop will be delivered on Sunday 30th November and are an extra cost to attend for attendees.
Preparing your Presentation for the Conference
Please refer to the program schedule to view the day and time of your presentation HERE. The program is subject to change; please ensure you download the most recent program.
Please report to the registration desk located in foyer M (in front of the west entrance) upon arrival. You will then be directed to your workshop room, where a venue AV technician will assist with setting up your presentation.
The preferred method of presentation is via PowerPoint. PowerPoint presentations should be prepared in wide screen 16:9 (not standard 4:3 format). There is a PowerPoint template that you can use if you wish, it can be downloaded from HERE. Please bring your presentation on a USB drive, so it can be uploaded to the venue system by an AV technician. Please have your presentation saved under your last/family name.
If you are wanting to use your own laptop, please bring any required adapters and arrive early to test your connection with the AV team.
If you are using a Mac or have other special presentation needs, please speak with the AV technicians for assistance.
Please Note: Morning and afternoon tea will be provided for all workshop attendees and presenters and served in the City Room Foyers (outside the workshop rooms). Lunch will not be provided — attendees and presenters are encouraged to make their own arrangements.

Session Rooms
All session rooms will be arranged in cabaret style (round tables and chairs) and will be equipped with a laptop, lectern, data projector and handheld slide presenter / laser pointer (clicker) supplied by the venue. It is recommended that you use the venue laptops and play back devices. Each workshop will be provided with a flip chart (comes with markers) and a pack of regular sized post it-notes. Any other stationary or equipment will need to be provided by the presenter.
If you must use your own laptop, please check with speaker support prior to your presentation start time to ensure you have the appropriate adaptors. Please note that the venue will not provide any technical support for equipment it does not own and maintain.
