Welcome to the Delegate Information Hub for the ASCILITE Conference 2025!

Here you’ll find everything you need to know in the lead-up to and during the conference. Please take a moment to review the information below to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.



Venue

The 2025 ASCILITE Conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), North Terrace, Adelaide SA.

Registration Desk

The Conference Registration desk will be located in Foyer M, in front of the Western Entrance and will be open as follows:

  • Sunday 30 Nov: 15:00 – 18:00
  • Monday 1 Dec: 07:30 – 18:00
  • Tuesday 2 Dec: 07:30 – 17:00
  • Wednesday 3 Dec: 08:00 – 16:00



Speaker Support 

All presenters are required to visit Speaker Support to upload slides and check AV requirements in advance of their session. Slides will be networked to the session room and available at the lectern when presenting.

Located in the City Room Foyer (Level 1)

  • Tuesday 2 Dec: 07:30 – 16:00

Poster Session and Drinks

Date & Time: Monday 1 December | 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Location: Hall L, Adelaide Convention Centre

Conference Dinner

Date & Time: Tuesday 2 December | 7:00pm – late
Location: Level 1, Panorama Ballroom, Adelaide Convention Centre
Dress Code: Cocktail dress is advised and we would love to see you embrace the theme: “42 and the End of the Universe — A Night of Broadway Meets the Galaxy.” Guests can go cosmic, classic, or full-on showbiz. Think metallics, sequins, or old Hollywood glamour. 
Entry: Entry is by ticket only, please have your registration badge when entering.



Important Information for Presenters

• Please refer to the conference program schedule to confirm the day and time for your presentation.

• All session rooms will be equipped with standard AV facilities, including a laptop, clicker, projector, screen and microphones.

• The preferred presentation format is PowerPoint (16:9 widescreen aspect ratio). Please bring your presentation on a USB, clearly labelled with your last/family name.

• Presentations must be uploaded to the venue system by an AV technician in Speaker Support. We recommend uploading your file with speaker support well in advance of your session.

• The Speaker Support team will also ask your consent to sharing your presentation with delegates after the conference has concluded

• Your slides will be networked to the room you are presenting in and available on the desktop when standing at the lectern to present.

• If you are using a Mac or have special technical requirements, please consult with the AV technicians in Speaker Support for assistance.

• We also encourage all presenters to meet the Session Chairs in the session room 10 minutes before the session begins to ensure a smooth start.



Payment Reminder

A friendly reminder to all delegates with outstanding registration fees; payment is required to be received in full prior to the conference commencing. Payments can be made following the payment link in your registration confirmation, or alternatively payment can be made via EFT transfer with bank details provided on your invoice.  



Conference Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available for delegates. This dedicated network is for ASCILITE Conference delegates only. Login details will also be on signage at the registration desk.

Dietary Requirements

If you have advised the conference organisers of any special dietary requirements during registration, the information has been shared with the venue. Please identify yourself to catering staff onsite for assistance. 



Dress

Smart casual dress is suggested for conference sessions. We suggest you bring a light jacket for your comfort, as the venue is air-conditioned. Check the latest update here



Final Conference Details

All delegates will receive a Welcome Email a few days prior to the Conference with final instructions and any last-minute reminders.
