How to Book Accommodation
Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Rates quoted are per night, room only.
BLOCK HOTEL BOOKINGS held by the Event Manager can be booked via the AATE/ALEA 2024 registration process. This includes bookings for the Playford Adelaide, the Adelaide Rockford, the Sofitel Adelaide, the Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide and the Holiday Inn Express. Bookings via the Event Managers block bookings are available up until 7 June 2024, after which point they will be closed. We encourage you to book at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.

If you have already registered for the AATE/ALEA Conference 2024 and wish to add on an accommodation booking (prior to 7 June 2024), please contact the Event Manager at contact@eventstudio.com.au quoting AATE/ALEA 2024 Accommodation and your requested dates, and our team will advise you of availability on your requested dates and add this onto your registration for you if suitable.
Any DIRECT HOTEL DISCOUNT LINKS are to be booked on delegates own accord, and instructions on how to book these are listed further below on this page.
Amending Accommodation Bookings
For bookings made through the Event Manager, please contact Event Studio to advise of any change requests to bookings (prior to 7 June 2024) and refrain from contacting the hotel direct. All changes to accommodation bookings (prior to 7 June 2024) must be written via email to contact@eventstudio.com.au. Please quote AATE/ALEA 2024 Accommodation in your email.Only if you have booked and paid directly with a hotel, should you contact them directly.

BLOCK HOTEL BOOKINGS are held by the Event Manager and can be booked conveniently via the AATE/ALEA 2024 registration form. Event Studio have negotiated a special AATE/ALEA rate specifically for delegates attending.

Payment Policy:
- Credit card guarantee required to secure booking at point of registration, which will be forwarded by the Event Manager to the hotel 30 days prior to the conference (7 June 2024) and full-payment will be charged by the hotel on this day
- All guests are responsible for paying any remaining balance direct to the hotel upon arrival/departure.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival (any time prior to 7 June 2024).
- Any cancellation made within 30 days of arrival (from 7 June 2024 onwards) are subject to full room charges due to hotel cancellation penalty (100% of your accommodation booking).
- Non arrivals/no shows will incur a fee equal to 100% of the accommodation not utilised (100% of your accommodation stay).
Other:
- Check-in time is 2.00pm. Check-out time is 10.00am.
- Free Express Start breakfast or Grab and Go Option.
- Free high-speed Wi-Fi – unlimited and available on multiple devices
- Holiday Inn Express Adelaide City Centre does not have an onsite car park. Car parking is available offsite at
- Car Park on Blyth Street, next door to the hotel. The hotel has discounted exit tickets for
$25 per exit available for purchase Front Desk.

Payment Policy:

- Final full payment is required at check in.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellation can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival (any time prior to 7 June 2024).
- Any cancellation made within 30 days until 8 days of arrival (from 7 June 2024 until 1 July 2024) will incur a penalty equal to the first night’s accommodation
- Any Cancellation made less than 7 days prior to arrival (2 July 2024 onwards) are subject to full room charges due to hotel cancellation penalty (100% of your accommodation booking).
- Non arrivals/no shows will incur a fee equal to 100% of the accommodation not utilised (100% of your accommodation stay).
Other:
- Check-in time is 2.00pm. Check-out time is 11.00am.
- Breakfast is not included in the above rate. A Grab N Go continental breakfast Bag can be added on to the rate at time of reservation for an additional $15.00 per person.
- Under cover parking is available to in-house guests at a charge of $20.00 per car per day

Payment Policy:

- Security deposits will be taken during check-in – unless otherwise organised prior by Credit Card Authority Form. Cash deposits or guarantees for accommodation will not be accepted and will be refused
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival (any time prior to 7 June 2024) without incurring a cancellation fee.
- Any cancellations made between 30 - 15 days prior to arrival (from 7 June to 24 June 2024) are subject to one night's accommodation payable of your accommodation booking.
- Any cancellations made 14 days prior to arrival (from 25 June 2024 onwards) are subject to full room charges due to hotel cancellation penalty (100% of your accommodation booking).
- Non arrivals/no shows will incur a fee equal to 100% of the accommodation not utilized (100% of your accommodation stay).
Other:
- Check-in time is 2.00pm. Check-out time is 10.00am.
- Breakfast is not included in the above rate. Can be organised directly with the hotel at an additional $22.00pp - $33.00pp.
- Early check-in: If you have an early morning arrival or require an early check-in, the hotel recommend you make a room reservation the night prior to the arrival date.
- Car Parking cost is $25 per night available at the hotel in undercover secure space (spaces are
limited).

Payment Policy:
- Credit card guarantee required to secure booking at point of registration, which will be forwarded by the Event Manager to the hotel 30 days prior to the conference (7 June 2024) and a deposit equal to one night’s accommodation will be charged.
- The remaining balance of bookings will be charged to the individuals credit card 7 days prior to the conference (2 July 2024).
- Any incidentals accrued during the individual’s stay will be charged at the time
of check-out.
Cancellation Policy:
- Within 30 days prior to arrival (7 June 2024) any room nights cancelled will incur 100% cancellation fee.
- If a guest does not arrive on the agreed arrival date they will be classed as a "No Show". In this instance and/or should a guest decide to depart early, the Hotel will charge a 100% cancellation fee for all remaining room nights booked for the "No Show" or early departure guest.

- Check-in time is 3.00pm. Check-out time is 11.00am.
- Should an
early check-in or late check-out be required, a fee is applicable.
