RAPID FIRE AND POSTER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS


We appreciate your time and ask you read the instructions to ensure deadlines and expectations as a Rapid Fire and Poster Presenter are met. Please find below more details on requirements for presentations. 

Abstracts submitted and accepted as Rapid Fire and Poster Presentation will be delivered live at the in-person Conference. 

Please refer to the program schedule to view the day and time of your presentation.

Only presenting authors are listed on the program and will display as per your original submission. If the author/s listed on the program are not the presenting author/s, or you wish to withdraw your presentation, please advise the Conference Manager at your earliest convenience by emailing NDLR2024@eventstudio.com.au.

Presentation Type:

As an Accepted Rapid Fire and Poster Presenter, there are two elements to your abstract acceptance and participation in the NDLR 2024 Program.

 1. Rapid Fire Presentation. This is an Oral Presentation and is strictly 3 minutes in duration accompanied by 1 Power Point Slide. The 3 minutes should provide the audience with an overview of your poster allowing you a platform to highlight key areas of your poster presentation. 

 2. Poster Presentation. Bring your AO portrait poster to the Meeting. You are assigned a paper number for your poster to be hung on display throughout the duration of the meeting.

Date to Withdraw: Friday 15 December, 2023

Author Registration Deadline: Monday 15 January, 2023

Meeting Dates: 4 - 6 March 2024


Prior to the Meeting:

  • All Presenters are to register for their attendance at the conference by 15 February 2023.
  • Prior to attending the in-person Meeting in Adelaide, checking the program is essential to confirm your allocated poster number
  • Posters should be no larger than AO portrait size i.e. 841mm wide [left to right] x 1189mm high [top to bottom]. Please ensure your poster does not exceed 841mm wide.
  • Posters can be erected from 8:00am, Monday 4 March, 2024. Posters must be taken down after lunch between 2:00pm - 2:30pm on Wednesday 6 March, 2024.
  • All poster presenters should be alongside their poster during scheduled poster presentation times.
  • Posters are to be erected by Poster Presenters on arrival.  It is your own responsibility to print and bring along your poster. The event organisers accept no responsibility in receiving or erecting posters. 
  • Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register and attend the in-person meeting in Adelaide.

All poster presenters should be alongside their poster during the scheduled breaks and poster viewing times. Please refer to the program schedule to view the day and time of your presentation HERE. The program is subject to change, please ensure you download the most recent program. 

A reminder that onsite, the organisers accept no responsibility for damage to or loss of posters.

Preparing your 3 minute Presentation for the Meeting

Please refer to the program schedule to view the day and time of your presentation HERE. The program is subject to change, please ensure you download the most recent program. The preferred method of presentation is via PowerPoint. PowerPoint presentations should be prepared in wide screen 16:9 (not standard 4:3 format). You must bring your presentation to the conference on USB Flash drive for it to be loaded onto the venue system by an audiovisual technician in the Speaker Support Room. Please have your presentation saved under your last/family name.

Session Room & AV Equipment

The session room will be equipped with a laptop, lectern, lapel microphone, data projector and hand held slide presenter / laser pointer (clicker) supplied by the venue. It is recommended that you use the venue laptops and play back devices. 

If at all possible, please check your presentation material in the speaker support room well before your presentation time to avoid any problems when you present.

We further recommend you meet with your session chairperson in the session room 10-15 minutes prior to the commencement of the session. 

Presenter Registration

Presenters are requested to report to the registration desk on arrival. You will be directed to the speaker support room where your presentation will be uploaded and verified.

A Speaker Preparation Room will be available onsite. Further details will be provided to presenters closer to the event date.
