Zealandia After-hours Tour crosses over with the HSRAANZ Welcome Reception, programmed to take place at the conference venue on Wed, 2 December at 5.00pm - 7.00pm.
After-hours Departure Details:
After-hours tour group to meet in the lobby of Tākina Convention Centre, and a member of the organising committee will walk delegates and family to the bus stop across the road. Delegates and family will return to Tākina Convention Centre and can make their way back to their accommodation.
Venture into the sanctuary just before sunset to
hear the dusk chorus, as the day birds sign off and the night ones wake up. The
last part of the tour is walked in darkness by torchlight searching for
nocturnal species.

Twilight tour Departure Details:
Twilight tour group to meet in the lobby of Tākina Convention Centre, and a member of the organising committee will walk delegates and family to the bus stop across the road. Delegates and family will return to Tākina Convention Centre and can make their way back to their accommodation.
On the Te Aro Pā – Hidden Māori Treasures Cultural Walking Tour, you will uncover the fascinating stories behind the city, including viewing the archaeological remains of a whareponga and learning about the people who once lived at the Pā and their journey to Wellington. You will also gain exclusive access to a non‑public excavation site as you discover Wellington’s hidden Māori treasures.
