How to Book Accommodation

Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Rates quoted are per night, room only.

Block Hotel Bookings held by the Event Manager can be booked via the HSRAANZ 2026 registration process. This includes bookings for the Oaks Wellington, TRYP by Wyndham and Quest 256 Lambton. Bookings via the Event Managers block bookings are available up until 28 October 2026, after which point they will be closed. We encourage you to book at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment.

If you have already registered for the HSRAANZ 2026 Conference and wish to add on an accommodation booking (prior to 28 October 2026), please contact the Event Manager at HSR2026@eventstudio.com.au quoting HSR 2026 Accommodation and your requested dates, and our team will advise you of availability on your requested dates and add this onto your registration for you if suitable.

Amending Accommodation Bookings

For bookings made through the Event Manager, please contact Event Studio to advise of any change requests to bookings (prior to 28 October 2026) and refrain from contacting the hotel direct. All changes to accommodation bookings (prior to 28 October 2026) must be written via email to HSR2026@eventstudio.com.au. Please quote HSRAANZ 2026 Accommodation in your email.

Only if you have booked and paid directly with a hotel, should you contact them directly.

Each hotel has differing terms and conditions. Please ensure you have read and understood individual payment and cancellation policies before booking.

BLOCK HOTEL BOOKINGS are held by the Event Manager and can be booked conveniently via the HSRAANZ 2026 registration form. Event Studio have negotiated a special HSRAANZ 2026 rate specifically for delegates attending. 



TRYP BY WYNDHAM WELLINGTON

Stay in the heart of the central business district while enjoying the contemporary comforts and art deco architecture of TRYP by Wyndham Wellington, Tory Street. A short drive from Wellington International Airport (WLG) and surrounded by diverse restaurants, our non-smoking hotel is walking distance from Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre as well as the Wellington Waterfront Walk—lined with shops, eateries, bars, and attractions like the Wellington Museum. You’ll also be near Victoria University of Wellington, Wellington Station, and public transportation.

Room type available: King Studio - NZ$239.00 per room, per night

Terms and Conditions for the TRYP by Wyndham

Payment Policy:

  • Credit card guarantee required to secure booking at point of registration, which will be forwarded by the Event Manager to the hotel 30 days prior to the conference (prior to 28 October 2026) and full payment will be charged by the hotel on this day
  • All guests are responsible for paying any remaining balance direct to the hotel upon arrival/departure.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival (any time prior to 28 October 2026). 
  • Any cancellation made within 30 days of arrival (from 28 October 2026 onwards) are subject to full room charges due to hotel cancellation penalty (100% of your accommodation booking). 
  • Non arrivals/no shows will incur a fee equal to 100% of the accommodation booking.

Other:

  • Check-in time is 3.00pm. Check-out time is 11.00am. 
  • Wi-Fi is provided complimentary for all in-house guests


OAKS WELLINGTON

Perfectly positioned in Wellington's vibrant entertainment precinct, our hotel offers contemporary accommodation with spectacular harbour and city views (though we can't promise you'll spot any hobbits from your window), just steps from the picturesque waterfront.

  • Carpark available for small and medium sized cars at NZ$25 per night


Quest 256 Lambton

Terms and Conditions for the Quest 256 Lambton

Payment Policy:

  • Credit card guarantee required to secure booking at point of registration, which will be forwarded by the Event Manager to the hotel 30 days prior to the conference (prior to 28 October 2026) and one nights accommodation will be charged.
  • 7 days prior (24th November) full payment will be charged by the hotel on this day.
  • All guests are responsible for paying any remaining balance direct to the hotel upon arrival/departure.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival (any time prior to 28 October 2026). 
  • Any cancellation made within 30 days of arrival until 8 days of arrival (from 28 October 2026 until 23rd November 2026)
  • Any cancellation made within 7 days of arrival (from 24th November 2026 onwards) are subject to full room charges due to hotel cancellation penalty (100% of your accommodation booking). 
  • Non arrivals/no shows will incur a fee equal to 100% of the accommodation booking.

Other:

  • Check-in time is 2.00pm. Check-out time is 10.00am. 
  • Continental breakfast packs @ NZ$17 per pack / cooked breakfast pack @ NZ$27.00 per pack are available prepared by local partner Sierra Cafe after 7am Mon - Fri or after 9am on weekends. 
  • Wi-Fi is provided complimentary for all in-house guests
  • Carpark available NZ$25 per night on an offsite carpark, subject to availability and 1.8m height restriction
