Event Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions
In registering for ANZSNM 2022 ASM (the “event”), hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (the “Organiser”), delegates agree to the following terms and conditions.
Privacy
Event Studio (the “Conference Secretariat”) has a comprehensive Privacy Policy regarding information provided to Event Studio.
Photography/Recording
All in-person and on-demand sessions are subject to video, audio and chat recording. By participating in the ANZSNM 2022 conference, participants give ANZSNM, or anyone authorized by ANZSNM, permission to screenshot, photograph or video your image and/or presentations for use in print, electronic medium, webcasts, internal and external promotional purposes and archival purposes.
Disclaimer
At the time of registration, ANZSNM provided the most recent information available and the delegate accepts that the content and/or the delivery of the event can change beyond the control of ANZSNM. ANZSNM will not take any responsibility for any errors, omissions and changes to the program or content of the event. ANZSNM reserves the right to make changes as it deems necessary without penalty and in such situations no refunds, part refunds or alternative offers shall be made.
1. ANZSNM reserves the right to update the Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions without notice to you.
2. ANZSNM cannot control all content published or disseminated at the event. You may find other delegates’ or participants’ communications, graphics, audio files or other information inappropriate, offensive, harmful, inaccurate, dishonest or misleading and/or deceptive, however you alone are solely responsible for your interaction with other delegates and agree to act responsibly and exercise caution, common sense and safety while in attendance at the conference
3. ANZSNM, its directors, employees, servants, agents and affiliates shall not be liable for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims or expenses whatsoever arising out of or referable to the event.
Registration
If a person is registering on behalf of a delegate/s it is the responsibility of that person to notify the delegate of the terms and conditions of registering, for which they will be agreeing to on the behalf of the delegate. Responsibility also includes providing full details of the delegate’s registration details and acknowledging the conference venue(s) may require registrants to show evidence of a COVID-19 double vaccination documentation.
To qualify for early bird registration, registration fees must be paid in full by the terms stated on the tax invoice or by commencement of standard registration. Registration fees received after this time will automatically change to the standard conference rate. Registration fees are based on date of payment receipt, not the date of which the registration form was completed.
All conference fees must be paid in full prior to the conference.
On-demand conference registrations allow only the registered delegate to access recorded presentations for 6 months. A personalised link will be provided the week following the event for access the virtual conference portal and the recorded presentations. This is not transferrable to other participants. If a second person would like to join, they must register themselves and have their own unique access.
Cancellations and Refunds
Conference Registration
Should you be unable to attend a substitute delegate is welcome. All cancellations or alterations to registration must be made in writing to the conference Secretariat – Event Studio.
Cancellations made 30 days prior to the conference will be refunded 50% of fees paid. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date and any registrations with a balance remains due in full. All refunds will be made at the conclusion of the conference. A No-Show will be deemed a cancellation and the above policy applies.
In the unfortunate scenario where the face-to-face event in Brisbane cannot be held, all In Person registrations will revert to On Demand registrations.
Insurance
Insurance, including medical cover and expenses incurred in the event the conference is cancelled, is your responsibility. We recommend you discuss your insurance cover with your travel agent. The policy should include loss of fees/deposits through cancellation of your participation in the conference or through the cancellation of the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and additional expenses and repatriation, should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Conference Secretariat will take no responsibility for any participant failing to insure.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this agreement for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary license), wars, acts of terrorism, insurrections, natural disaster, global health crisis and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
Entire Agreement
Subject to any amendments specified in subsequent event registration forms or terms and conditions, the event registration form and these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions, negotiations and agreements in relation to the event.
