Carlo L Romanò is a free consultant for Policlinico di Monza Healthcare Group and the Villa Maria Healthcare Group and adjunct Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Milan, Italy. He served as the Director of the Center of Reconstructive Surgery and Osteoarticular Infection and as co[1]Director of the Milano Biofilm Center at the Research Orthopedic Institute Galeazzi in Milan. Co-founder and currently Secretary General of the World Association against Infection in Orthopedics and Trauma, he is past-President of the European Bone and Joint Infection Society and co-founder and past-President of the Italian Study Group on Osteoarticular Infections.
