Kathy Willowson is a senior medical physicist in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital, and a senior lecturer at The Institute of Medical Physics, University of Sydney. Her area of interest lies specifically in SPECT quantification and clinical applications, in particular for radionuclide therapy. She is involved in both Masters and PhD student supervision, as well as lecturing in medical physics at Sydney University and with the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists. She is actively involved in development of clinical trials and site assessment for inter-site image comparison and analysis of data for new radiopharmaceuticals.
