POSTER PRESENTATIONS


The state-of-the art and easy to use virtual platform will feature a dedicated Poster Gallery housing pre-loaded PDF posters and for the first time in 2022 accompanied by your 3 minute pre-recorded presentation.

Your PDF poster and pre-recorded video presentation will be available for attendees to view at their leisure as soon as they have access to the portal and on demand throughout the live event. With the added opportunity to upload a pre-recorded video, Poster Presentations will be a draw card at this years ANZAHPE 2022 Festival. 

In addition to your Poster PDF and optional 3 minute video, Live discussion groups for Poster Presenters has been incorporated into the Festival Program into a dedicated stream. All accepted Poster Presenters have been assigned to a theme and grouped together in a stream allowing a live 10 minute discussion. This feature in 2022 is aimed to replicate the popular poster pods previously featured at in person events prior to the the pandemic.

Going virtual means we need to be more organised ahead of the live event dates.  We appreciate your time and ask you read the instructions below to ensure deadlines and expectations as poster presenter are met. Please find below more details on requirements for your poster presentation.


Poster Presentations - 3 ways!

  1. Poster PDF - available in the Poster Gallery in the Virtual Platform.
  2. Video (max 3 minutes) - opportunity to provide a 3 minute video to accompany your Poster PDF, available to all attendees in the Poster Gallery.
  3. LIVE discussion (approx 5 minutes each ) - check out the conference program to confirm the date and time your live discussion will occur. Live discussion groups will be held together with other authors with approx 5 minutes assigned per poster presenter. 


Presenter Registration

  • All presenting authors must register 31st May 2022. A presenter is deemed the nominated person/s who will present the poster presentation. Please use the unique link sent to your nominated email.

Poster PDF Instructions

  • All posters need to be uploaded in PDF format, ideally in landscape/aspect ratio 16:9. Please note, the Poster Gallery has the ability for attendees to zoom in to your Poster to read finer details/illustrations. To upload your completed poster PDF, please re-enter the presentation portal by using your auto log in link provided in the notification email.
  • All posters need to be uploaded by the 14 June 2022.

Poster Pre-recorded Presentation

  • Pre-recorded poster presentations will be 3 minutes maximum in length 
  • All video presentations must be uploaded in MP4 Format 
  • You will not have the opportunity to make any edits once the files have been uploaded.
  • To upoad your completed pre-recorded video, please re-enter your presentation portal by using your personalised link sent via email.


Poster Discussion Group - Live on 11th, 13th and 19th July  

All Poster Presentations will have the opportunity to discuss their Poster in a groups via the virtual platform in a dedicated stream within the Festival Program. All Posters have been grouped into the following:

  • Ed Tech (Educational Technology)
  • PCW (Professionalism, Culture and Welfare)
  • Assessment
  • Curriculum
  • IPE (Interprofessional Learning)
  • Faculty Development

Please refer to the most recent program available here and your author notification email to confirm the theme your poster has been grouped in with day and time for your discussion group. All delegates will be encouraged to view your Poster PDF in the Poster Gallery ahead of your scheduled discussion group. The discussion group will be a casual meeting via zoom room link within the virtual portal where you can interact with other attendees and answer s questions and engage in discussion relating to your poster. 

Please note, these discussion groups will not have Chair or Technician present. As the Poster Presenter, you will host this session, designed to be causal gathering of other attendees looking to talk about your poster and enter discussion.  

Attendees will have access to the Poster Gallery when the link to the platform is sent out, and can continue to access the posters and videos after the live event also.

• Save as Landscape / aspect ratio 16:9 

(If preparing PowerPoint navigate to design, customize, slide size)
 • Save as a PDF

3. Upload!

Upload your Poster PDF via the Poster Portal. A link to the Poster Portal was emailed to you. 

Easy to follow instructions are provided in the Poster Portal.

Recording Tips:

  • Avoid bright lights and windows behind you. 
  • Good light in front of you (on your face) will provide for a better image.
  • Mute your phone when recording to avoid interruptions

Publication of Presentations 

Access to presentations post conference
Presentations and live Q & A/panel discussions will be made available to registered delegates for viewing for 12 months after the conference.
All on demand content will be password/pin protected and only accessible to those with valid registrations.
