DAY 1 - Friday 22 August 2025

Guided tour of the Melbourne Seafood Centre
Start the day with a behind-the-scenes visit to Victoria’s largest wholesale seafood trading hub. Get a first-hand look at how seafood moves through the supply chain from early morning trading to distribution.

Lobster processor visit
Tour a leading Victorian lobster processing facility to learn about grading and handling practices for live seafood that maintain premium quality.

Lunch and market stroll at South Melbourne Market
Take a break with lunch at one of Melbourne’s most beloved food destinations. Explore local produce and enjoy casual seafood offerings in a vibrant market atmosphere.

Tour of export facility
Visit an export facility to see how high-value seafood products are handled post-catch. Gain insight into logistics, handling practices, and export flows.

Lobster dinner in Melbourne CBD
Wind down with a shared dinner featuring fresh Victorian lobster in one of Melbourne’s cultural and culinary hotspots—Chinatown—celebrating the region’s seafood excellence in a premium dining setting.



DAY 2 - Saturday 23 August 2025

Apollo Bay wharfside lobster experience
Travel along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay for a unique on-wharf experience with a local fisher. Learn about the daily realities of lobster fishing and coastal community operations.

Lunch at Apollo Bay Fishermen’s Co-Op
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch at the Apollo Bay Fishermen’s Co-Op, with seafood sourced directly from the local fleet. A true ocean-to-plate experience.

Check-in and dinner at Totti’s Lorne
Arrive in Lorne and unwind with dinner at Totti’s—an iconic dining spot known for its relaxed yet refined coastal vibe and quality seasonal produce.


DAY 3 - Sunday 24 August 2025

8:00am - 6pm            

Beach-launched lobster fishing in Torquay
Visit with local fishers along the coast to learn more about how Southern Rock Lobster is sustainably harvested.

Lobster lunch in Torquay
Celebrate the final day of the tour with a seaside lunch featuring Victoria’s signature seafood, prepared fresh in the heart of the Surf Coast.

Airport or Melbourne CBD drop-off
Relax as we make our way back to Melbourne, arriving in time for evening flights. A fitting end to an enriching tour across Victoria’s seafood landscape.
