ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Abstract submissions close 16 June 2023(Now Closed!);
Presentations can be in Oral and/or Poster Presentation format;
Authors of accepted oral abstracts will be asked to submit a pre-recorded presentation in advance of the in-person event in Adelaide. This will be used to form the on-demand virtual platform.
Submission acknowledges consent to print the abstract and contact details in the conference proceedings and list of presenting authors;
The presenting author will be required to register for the conference in order to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program; Deadline for presenting author registration will be advised in the acceptance letter;
Abstracts are to be text only – limit of 300 words. Graphs, figures, diagrams, images etc. must not be included;
Submissions should be completed electronically via the online Presentation Portal - opening in March 2023;
Multiple abstracts may be submitted by an individual;

PRESENTATION PLATFORMS:
The following presentation platforms will be available, authors are required to nominate a preferred presentation format during the submission process.
Oral Presentations - 12 minute presentation, accompanied by 3-minutes question time. Authors of accepted oral abstracts will be asked to submit a pre-recorded presentation in advance of the in-person event in Adelaide. This will be used to form the on-demand virtual platform.
Poster Presentations - Presenters will be able to share their work as a poster during dedicated poster sessions within the program. Guidelines for poster presenters will be provided during the notification process.
Terms and Conditions
Submissions are accepted on the basis that all presenting authors must register and pay the appropriate conference fee by Monday 28th July 2023. Co-presenters must register for the day of their presentation (as a minimum). Speakers need to meet their own travel and accommodation costs. It is a requirement of all accepted presenters to provide a pre-recorded presentation for inclusion in the on-demand virtual platform.
Post Conference Viewing of Presentations
APPS 2023 will be on-demand and delegates will have access to oral and poster presentations post-conference. On-demand access will be made available to registered delegates for viewing for 3 months after the conference. All on-demand content will be password/pin protected and only accessible to those with valid registrations. Posters will also be uploaded for viewing.
