Leigh Muirhead

When professionalism and experience counts, Leigh Muirhead has worn many hats. She has an impressive television career including: advertorial host and presenter, fashion and current affairs reporter, co-host for a local morning magazine program, and Queensland presenter for a National Morning program, just to name a few. 

Leigh’s career began on Channel 9’s National Children’s Show “Happy-Go-Round”, which was hosted by Jacki Macdonald. She has worked as a Morning Show Host sitting alongside Ernie Sigley, Ian Skippen and Rob Brough. Reporting for shows such as ‘Good Morning Australia’ or Brisbane’s own ‘Extra’, presenting advertorials for a wide array of nationally recognised products, or fronting Television Commercials as a creditable face - Leigh’s versatility will impress. 

With her own voice-over studio, Leigh records voice on Television and Radio Ads, Phone Messages on Hold, Training videos, Web pages and more. 

Hosting Awards Nights, Launches, Conferences, Fashion Parades, etc is another impressive area of Leigh’s ongoing work. Her friendly manner, modern look and confident style has connected her to audiences across the nation for many years, creating a recognisable face that commands respect. 

Leigh’s continual re-bookings for work is due to not only the way she relates so well with her audience but also because of the work she does with the client prior to the event/commercial to ensure that they achieve maximum results and exposure. 

Leigh produces, panels and hosts her own radio program on 94.1FM on the Gold coast every Sunday morning from 6 – 9am. In her spare time, she set up Brisbane’s first major Bridal expo in 1993, starting at the RNA and moving to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. After 7 years of running this event, Leigh sold this successful venture to ‘Queensland Brides Magazine’. Twenty-four years on, Leigh still comperes all the Bridal parades at each expo. 

 Leigh’s experience is vast and varied – and has armed her with the ability to think fast on her feet, ad lib, time manage events and conferences, and juggle whatever is thrown at her in a professional and polished manner. Leigh will bring a fresh look and professional edge to any product.
