On behalf of the Health Services Research Association of Australia and New Zealand (HSRAANZ), I am delighted to invite you to our 12th Health Services Research Conference.

The Conference will be held at the University of Sydney, from Wednesday the 30th November to Friday the 2nd of December 2022

Following the disruption of our original plans to hold the 12th Health Services Research Conference in 2021, we are excited to announce that the conference is coming as a face-to-face experience in 2022. We strongly believe the HSR conferences are more than just an occasion for the presentation of research findings. They are opportunities to build networks and connections, share experiences, support each other and reconnect as a community

Speakers and delegates at the Health Services Research Conference 2022 are invited to delve into the inter-related themes of resilience, innovation and value, and the role of health services research in embedding these principles into our health systems. Resilience in health services, and the people working in them, is more important now than ever as we adapt to shifting health needs and priorities and implement radical changes to cope with (and recover from) the pandemic. Innovations in research, practice and policy are needed to address the many health service challenges we face, but demonstrating value is also increasingly required as resources become ever more constrained. The conference will bring together a variety of disciplines including medicine, allied health, nursing, health policy, health economics, public health, health promotion, epidemiology, informatics and sociology to share how research can help build and maintain resilience, innovation and value within health systems. We look forward to seeing you there.
