Speak at AITD 2026

Are you an experienced and dynamic L&D practitioner with practical knowledge to share?

We’d love to hear your expression of interest for a session at the AITD Conference 2026, taking place at the Sofitel Brisbane, 13–15 May 2026.

Please submit your EOI by completing the form below by Monday, 10 November2025.

Theme: Building L&D capabilities – Value, impact and agility

What We’re Looking For:

  • Audience Focus: Sessions should provide participants with clear takeaways—tools, strategies, and perspectives they can apply directly in their own contexts.

  • Connection to Capability Building: Your EOI may align with any of the capability areas: Core Practitioner Capability, Strategy and Partnering, Operations, Learning Solution Design, Learning Facilitation, Evaluation and Impact, and Learning Culture. We aim for a holistic program across the conference, ensuring breadth of coverage and diverse perspectives.

  • Actionable Insights: Contributions should go beyond inspiration, offering practical methods, frameworks, or lessons learned that address real challenges.

  • Cross-Sector Voices: We welcome speakers from government, corporate, consultancy, higher education, vocational education and more, recognising the strength that comes from diversity of perspectives.

Possible Topics

The AITD Conference 2026 is centred on Capability Building in Action. We recommend topics connect to the AITD L&D Capability Framework, with a focus on strengthening capability for individuals, teams, and organisations.

Within the framework, proficiency is defined from foundational through to advanced levels, with progression demonstrated across dimensions such as autonomy, complexity, problem-solving, innovation, influence, leadership, people development, technical mastery, decision-making, and scope.

EOIs are encouraged to draw on these topics, highlighting practical insights, case studies, and strategies that participants can apply in their own contexts.
