SPONSORSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

By confirming your involvement as a sponsor, you agree to the Australian Dementia Network 2021 Australian Dementia Forum (ADF 2021) full terms and conditions.

Disclaimer

For the avoidance of doubt, ADNeT reserves the right to amend or add any sponsorship package and accept any sponsorship offer, listed in Schedule 1 or unlisted, at any time and without notice.

COVID-19

ADNeT’s priority is the safety and well being of Conference delegates and therefore ADNeT will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will act in accordance with the relevant health advice of the State and Federal Government. ADNeT makes no warranty as to the number of delegates and/or visitors that may attend the Conference.

Unavoidable Occurrences

For the avoidance of doubt, In the event that the Conference is cancelled or delayed through no fault of ADNeT or the venue including but not limited to fire, flood, labour disputes, natural disasters, acts of God, civil disorders, riots, insurrections, work stoppages, slowdowns or disputes, global health crisis, or other similar events then the Sponsor shall not be entitled to any refund or claim for any loss or damage.

Conduct of Sponsored Activity

The Sponsor agrees that ADNeT may market and promote the Sponsored Activity, including by the distribution of promotional material, in its discretion. ADNeT must only use the Sponsorship at the Conference and related publicity, promotional and advertising activities directly associated with the Conference.

Cancellation Policy

The Sponsor may cancel their Sponsorship by ADNeT with written notice. In the event of Sponsor cancellation the following refunds will apply:

a) 90 days’ notice of Sponsor cancellation – the Sponsor will be entitled to an 80% refund

b) 60 days’ notice of Sponsor cancellation – the Sponsor will be entitled to an 50% refund

c) 30 days’ notice of Sponsor cancellation – the Sponsor will be entitled to an 20% refund

Sponsor Registrations, Exhibition & Attendance

All sponsor representatives attending the Conference must be pre-registered with the Secretariat in advance to receive login details for access to the virtual platform in which the conference will be held. Sponsors are responsible for the virtual exhibition that they will reside including providing the content to be presented in the stand and staffing the virtual exhibition on the day. ADNeT reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review sponsors/exhibitors proposed exhibition stand content prior to the Conference.

Photography/Recording

Exhibitors may download images or recordings of their own virtual stand. Digital images or recordings of the online event in general or other sponsors/exhibitors’ virtual stands is prohibited.

Corporate Recognition

Inclusion of corporate logos or recognition in soft copy material is subject to meeting publication deadlines. We request that all logos be supplied in the format detailed in Schedule 1, should an alternative format be received the Conference Organisers cannot be held responsible for the quality of the logo displayed in any of the promotional material or documentation.

Conditions

All costs exclude GST. Sponsors agree to pay ADNeT ADF 2021 (the Event) the full amount payable and as due. Monies are to be paid in Australian Dollars and include potential bank fees for processing international transfers.

Delegate Data

The provision of delegate contact details are subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 2001. The Privacy Act 2001 provides that before name and address details can be published in the list Conference delegates for distribution to fellow delegates or any other party, each delegates must provide consent. If a Conference delegate list is supplied to the Sponsor, the Sponsor represents and warrants that the use it will use any such list in accordance with the Australian Spam Act, the various Australian Privacy Acts and by following business best practices for information management.

Indemnity

Sponsor shall indemnify the Organiser and Conference Secretariat and hold them harmless for any claims, losses, damages, fees, expenses, or awards arising out of (1) any material, exhibits, documents, or other content distributed, displayed, or otherwise provided by Sponsors for ADF 2021; or (2) cancellation or deferral of the Conference; or (3) technical delay/issues with the event platform in which the conference is to be held and cannot be virtually conducted.
