PRODUCER PAPER SPEAKERS
Inverbrackie is located near Strathalbyn, South Australia and the Border Leicester stud was founded in 1964 by Lynton’s parents. It has grown from humble beginnings with Lynton purchasing the stud of 130 ewes in 1990. Lynton, together with his wife Claire and two daughters now run 850 adult ewes. An early goal when he took over the stud was to adopt new technology as it became available. Lynton prefers to benchmark the entire flock with LAMBPLAN and no longer takes rams to shows, where results are focussed on one or two sheep. The Inverbrackie stud regularly has rams in the top 1% of the LAMBPLAN database.
Lynton will speak at the 2021 AAABG Conference about the advantage for his Border Leicester stud from mating ewe lambs and ram lambs.

Since 1997, Tim has used and strongly supported financial benchmarking through the long-standing Livestock Farm Monitor Project administered by Agriculture Victoria.
Tim will speak at the 2021 AAABG Conference on the use of the ‘Paradoo Precision lambing’ system, which underpins high rates of twin and triplet lamb survival and the role of genetics, efficiency and key profit drivers in the Paradoo Prime breeding program.
