The theme of the 24th AAABG Conference is ‘Widening the range of technologies used in animal breeding and genetics’ with an emphasis on the many new tools that are now available to improve animal breeding programs. These tools range from novel methods for developing additional phenotypes to innovative molecular approaches to increase the accuracy of genetic selection.
As a unique feature, full papers from the 24th AAABG Conference will be published in a special edition of the journal Animal Production Science. In addition, shorter communications will appear in the conference proceedings. We will have a record number of presentations during the Conference. Delegates will have access to all papers and recordings from the Conference for 3 months afterwards.
The conference will be held on-line and in-person at local hubs. There will be hubs in Brisbane (Queensland), Armidale (New South Wales), Dunedin (New Zealand), Melbourne (Victoria), Adelaide (South Australia) and Perth (Western Australia). Delegates may join their colleagues at the hubs to view the presentations and ask questions of the speakers. There will be also a “virtual hub” where delegates may interact, ask questions, and network with fellow delegates and our sponsors.
So please join us for an outstanding international scientific meeting!
