He is an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology and Honorary Associate at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (University of Sydney). 

His research interests include technical aspects of precision radiotherapy including treatment innovations incorporating advanced imaging modalities. 

To date, he has been awarded $10.78 million in grant funding as CI. He has published 33 peer-reviewed papers, 2 book chapters and 41 conference abstracts.
