Abstracts will be assessed by two reviewers for quality and alignment with the conference theme. The scientific committee reserves the right to limit acceptance for a standard Oral, PeArLs, Poster, Symposia or Workshops to one abstract per presenting author or team so as to ensure a varied and balanced program.

Abstracts will be judged on a number of criteria including whether:

  • The purpose/ aim is aligned with the chosen presentation format (e.g. PeArLs).
  • The abstract presents a new idea, defined gap, or need.
  • The findings, discussion, questions, or activities are likely to contribute to the development of health professions education.

Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the Conference Program Committee. The contact author will be advised in writing of the Committee’s decision in April 2022.
